A Christian summer camp is a special opportunity for the youth to get in touch with their spiritual side while interacting with new social groups. With the many summer camps scheduled on a yearly basis, each catering to different interests and preferences, oftentimes people neglect to enroll their kids to a Christian summer camp thinking that its events would only involve a series of meditation and silence. But Christian summer camps are livelier than before with a variety of activities that will surely delight any child.

In Texas, Pine Cove Christian Camps are very much popular during the summer season. Ever summer, Pine Cove hosts a camp with over 16,000 children and families. The program involves a series of activities held in Columbus and Tyler, Texas. The agenda guarantees a life-changing experience for you and your family as the organization has been known to provide for over forty years now.

It’s canoe trips offer first hand experience of working with a small group to accomplish goals in a challenging environment. The trips are limited to nine campers and are led by experienced guides who also lead daily devotions.

The interdenominational Christian Appalachian Project, on other hand, has two Christian summer camps held on a yearly basis. The Camp Shawnee and the Camp Andrew Jackson are week-long camps that provide constant learning and praise for more than 1,000 Appalachian members of the youth. The programs are very affordable for many parents who wish to send their child to a fruitful journey with the Almighty. Camp Andrew Jackson is held in the ground of the Jackson County in Kentucky with an amazing landscape of a tiny lake and a breathtaking forest. Camp Shawnee is based in eastern Kentucky near the banks of Dewey Lake.

Christian summer camps are surprisingly affordable and many offer scholarships for kids who need financial aid.
